Stargazing
Tonight, we did something special. Instead of going home at 3pm, we stayed in school and waited for it to get dark. Whilst waiting, we watched our topic film 'Up!' and munched on hot dogs and popcorn. When it was dark, we ventured outside to our forest schools area to get positioned to look at the stars. Once settled, Mrs Olley and Mrs Turley did a great job of toasting marshmallows for us. We then leant back and gazed at the stars above. We had an amazing time using the i-pads and telescope to discover different constellations.
Maybe one day we can discover a new star ourselves!
