Gloucestershire School Games

Hartpury College

 

Having achieved 1st place at Dean Academy in the Forest South competition, the Lydney C of E archery team took part in the Gloucestershire School Games finals at Hartpury College.  The children faced tough competition  from schools all over the  county.  Showing focus and determination, the team achieved a respectable 6th place in the archery finals.  Mia-Rose gave a super individual performance achieving 4th place in the highest scoring girls shoot off.

Following on from this event however, the school took part in the adapted archery event.  Lydney C of E battled through each of their matches to win and bring home the gold medal.
