Science: Materials

In science, we have been learning about different materials and their uses. We have described materials such as wood, fabric, metal, glass and plastic and have sorted them according to their properties. We received a message from the Queen telling us that there was a hole in the roof at Buckingham Palace. We set to work testing different materials to find out which one would be the best to cover the hole with and we recorded which materials were strong and waterproof, perfect for a rooftop!
