A school council operates across the school with children being nominated from each class. Each term a new council is identified and they are involved in improving the school at all levels, meeting with the Executive Deputy Head to air ideas and views from themselves or other pupils in the school.
They are also responsible for some fund raising events.
Sunshine people are appointed weekly in the infant classes and form captains are appointed weekly in the junior classes. Y6 have a termly rota for duties around school. These tie-in to, and report back to, the school council to 'make school a better place'.
