The Dean Academy
On Tuesday 7th March, a team made up of Year 6 pupils took part in a Quicksticks hockey tournament. The tournament was held at The Dean Academy on the astoturf pitches. There are no goalkeepers in Quicksticks and the team consists of four outfield players. Our squad was made up of eight players.
We played 5 games in total, with two wins, two draws and only one loss. Our overall position in the tournament was 5th. All who took part did really well and once again, great attitudes shown throughout the whole tournament.
