The Friends
The Friends of Lydney C of E School are a small group of Parents /Guardians/ Grandparents who help to organise social and fundraising events to raise much needed money for the School. The monies raised go towards extras such as Book bags, Pantomime trips, Art Resources, Library books etc. We organise events such as the Summer Fayre, Christmas Fayre, Discos, Street Parties and much more! The Children and families of the School have a huge amount of fun at these events and it all adds to the Community spirit of the School.
The Committee
The Committee roles are currently as follows:
Chair – Lizzie Barton. This is Lizzie's first year as Chair - Lizzie has two children in Year 1 and 3.
Treasurer - Suzanne Howells - Sue has a child in Year 6.
Secretary – Laura Thomas - Laura has two children in Years 3 and 6.
