The Forest High School

Our Year 5 & 6 children took part in the first round of the

GPJ Multisports event at The Forest High School. 

To win the fixture, the team needed to secure wins in 3 out of 5 sports that they took part in :  Cricket, tennis, end ball, field sports and relay.

The children were beaten by Primrose Hill in the cricket and narrowly lost in both the tennis and end ball.  We did however give a fantastic performance, confidently winning the field events (javelin and long jump) and also the 6 man hurdle relay.

This did mean however, that that we did not proceed to the next round.  The children showed amazing team spirit and as always were a credit to Lydney C of E School.
